TechLynk was founded by two experienced tech professionals with backgrounds in Product Management, Data Analysis, and Software Development. With over 15 years of combined experience, they bring a unique technical perspective to recruiting.

Meet the Team

Jeremy Fernandez

Jeremy has worked as a Technical Product Manager at USAA, focusing on improving the mobile app experience for members on Android and iOS. With over 13 years of experience leading IT projects, working with design teams, and applying Agile/Scrum practices, Jeremy has successfully delivered member-focused features.

Jeremy is currently enrolled in the MBA Program at Rice University to expand his leadership skills.

Before joining USAA, Jeremy served in the U.S. Air Force for 9 years, where he:

  • Managed a $1.5 million unit budget.

  • Oversaw readiness for 158 members.

  • Taught students about proper procedures for handling hazardous materials on DoD aircraft.

Mauro Leos

Mauro has worked as a Technical Product Manager at USAA, specializing in member authentication for the mobile app.

With over 6 years in tech, Mauro began his career as a Data Analyst after graduating from The University of Texas at Austin, where he managed a $1 million Google Ads budget and conducted data analysis to improve business outcomes.

After teaching himself to code, Mauro became a Software Engineer at Media Monks in San Francisco, working on projects for Google. He led projects, collaborated with teams, and built software solutions.

Mauro later joined USAA as a Technical Product Manager, where he met Jeremy.

Our Mission

While working in tech, Mauro noticed that many recruiters lacked the technical background to properly assess candidates. Too often, recruiters focused on keywords instead of skills and potential. Recognizing this gap, Jeremy and Mauro founded a Technical Recruiting Agency built by IT professionals for IT professionals.
